Pat Kelly - Workshops

A three day still life workshop at Highland Valley  Studios December 7,8 &9. The workshop will begin Tuesday with quick  studies from life and conclude s with a discussion of composition and arrangement of the still life . Wednesday and Thursday we will paint from a still life inspired by the fall season.  All the elements of still-life painting will be covered, with an emphasis on color and how to use a limited palette. This is an excellent opportunity for students to study color in depth and to accomplish some serious painting. As the paintings are finished, students will discuss creative issues and learn methods of self-critique. Pat welcomes advanced as well as beginning students.

The cost is $250. for three days.
